Borgo Poneta Chianti wine
From the very Tuscan style a precious Chianti wine for your table
The Chianti region, where is located the farmhouse Borgo Poneta, has a tradition of viticulture. After years of neglect the rediscovery of the territory to the present day has led to a continuous improvement in the quality of local products.
Borgo Poneta Chianti wine, with 75-90% of Sangiovese, 5-10% of black Canaiolo, 2-10% Trebbiano and Malvasia, 10% of other red grapes from Chianti quality has a bright red color and an intensely vinous aroma, sometimes with hints of violet which tends to mature with age.
The law of 1932 divided the territory of Barberino in a sub-area belonging to the Chianti Classico, in a subzone Chianti Colli Fiorentini and a Chianti.
The Poneta area, Vico d'Elsa, Sant'Appiano, belonging to the Chianti Colli Fiorentini sub-area, has a centuries-old tradition of vine cultivation, which, after years of neglect, today has an increasing development and a continuous improvement into the level of quality of the products.
