The Village of Poneta
The little rural village of Poneta is located on a hill cross by a street which from the via Francigena on the downhill take to Barberino.
It is the village more important of a larger area, the area of Poneta, which is located on the hills for some square kilometres.
Many buildings compose the real village of Poneta, some lodged farm-worker families (8 during the 1950-1960 more the main house), some others were barns, warehouse...
The farm had two ovens for the bread, an oil mill to crush the olives and an underground cellar, today still working, to preserve and the mature the wine.
