Volterra
It is a jewel Etruscan, Medieval and Renaissance art. Walking through the central streets it is possible to take the medieval spirit, that stand out especially from the palace, the tower-houses or the churches. |

Monteriggioni
It is a typical village surrounded by walls. The fortifications, quite intact, have a circular expanse of 570 metres and 14 four-sided towers and two gates. |

The ancient village is in the upper part of the city. It is made by narrow paved streets, picturesque tower-houses, flight of stairs, arches, vaults and noble sixteenth century palaces. |
